Our Worship Services

MWA is for all ages
Mt. Wesley Akin Nazarene is for All Ages
We are a Christian family from all walks of life. Our generations range from the infant to near centurians. Our worship services contain descendants of the original church founders, who are still active in the church, as well as new folks who have just walked in the door.

Both contemporary and traditional music are part of our worship service. If you like to make a joyful noise or play an instrument unto the Lord, please contact us or come by and visit. Sunday School starts at 10 a.m. every Sunday morning. Our worship service begins at 11 a.m.

We offer programs and services for all ages and groups, including Sunday School classes and a Wednesday night Youth Group program.

Our Doctrine

We believe that the gospel message is a message of hope; that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ brings hope to a world that seems hopeless. There is forgiveness for anyone and any sin if we will confess that sin to God, turn from a life of sin, and believe on Jesus alone for salvation.

We believe that God not only wants to forgive us from our outward sins, but that He also provides us cleansing from the sinful nature inside. He is able to take our selfish hearts and recreate them to be hearts of pure love for God and pure love for others. This is great hope for so many who are plagued by attitudes and thoughts that seem out of control.

As a church, we want to proclaim hope. God has brought hope to our lives and we want to share this hope with all who will listen.
